Applications of tungsten screws

The aerospace industry relies on tungsten screws for their combination of high density and mechanical strength, which allows them to reduce the physical size of components while also providing greater weight distribution control for propellers, inertial systems, and fluid control systems, to name a few.
Due to tungsten’s high temperature strength and stability, the heat treating / furnace industry uses tungsten screws in high temperature vacuum furnaces.
Tungsten screws are used in the oil and gas industry for radiation shielding properties to protect equipment used in oil and gas detection, as well as down hole logging for density and the ability to withstand high hydrostatic pressure.
Tungsten screws are also used in the medical field due to their low magnetic properties and radiopaque properties.
