Tungsten Carbide Strips
Elevate your woodworking experience with tungsten carbide strips, a highly efficient and environmentally friendly material designed for woodworking cast iron cutting tools. This versatile material finds applications in various fields, boasting stainless steel-like qualities such as corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and bonding proof. Experience exceptional strength, toughness, bending, stretching, and impact resistance with tungsten carbide strips.
Our standard 310mm L tungsten carbide strips consist of an angled design, STB Bars adhering to USA standards, and strobe blanks for circular saws.
The primary chemical components of Tungsten Carbide Strips include WC and CO. These carbide strips boast impressive wear resistance. Cemented Tungsten Carbide Strips exhibit outstanding features, including high hardness and strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance, and remarkable stability even under high temperatures (remaining essentially unchanged at 500ºC and maintaining high hardness at 1000ºC). Additionally, they demonstrate good chemical stability (acid, alkali, and high-temperature oxidation), the impact toughness is characterized by a low coefficient of expansion, minimal thermal conductivity, and limited electrical conductivity.
Carbide Strips are usually used for treating solid wood, shaving board, and middle-density fiberboard. They can also be used to make woodworking tools such as forming tools, reamers, serrated knife blades, and various blades. Our strips meet the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard, ensuring reliability and performance.
