Tungsten carbide, renowned for its exceptional hardness, wear, and corrosion resistance, as well as a minimal expansion coefficient, significantly extends the lifespan of the dies. In fact, carbide dies can outlast steel dies by ten times or even dozens of times.
At T&D, our tungsten carbide molds and dies achieve tolerances as tight as +0.01mm, thanks to our use of original carbide material, low-pressure sintering, and other specialized processes. This results in enhanced toughness compared to conventional production methods, leading to a substantially prolonged lifespan.
