Particularly high density

We have complete equipment to test physical properties such as density, hardness, surface roughness, grain size, tensile strength, etc. The possible internal issues of the crucible such as porosity, slag, and cracks are doubly strictly inspected by eddy current and ultrasound.

We mostly supply forging crucibles with high density. Machined from deep forged tungsten rods. The density is very close to the theory value. For some extremely large outside-diameter crucibles, we supply sintering finished crucibles. We still get good density by carefully controlling the HIP furnace sintering temperature.

T&D supplies molybdenum and tungsten trays/boats for vacuum PM and MIM. The material can be Pure Molybdenum, Lan-Molybdenum, TZM Molybdenum, or Pure Tungsten.
Our trays/boats can be with or without rivets, welded, or non-welded according to the specifications detailed in your technical drawings. All charge carriers are also available according to your technical drawings.
We can also supply aluminum trioxide-coated trays/boats.
We strongly recommend you choose Lanthanum-Molybdenum or TZM Moly material folded design trays/boats. They can be used for a long time under 1700°C degrees. Please review the attached boat sketch.
We can supply the plates and trays with holes to meet your requirements. Moly and Tungsten spacers are available. Unique spacer designs are available.
The normal thickness is 0.100”, 0.125”, 0.15”, 0.200”. However, we can provide any width, height, and length of trays/boats.

We can supply 24” width x 120” L of the sheet with a thickness of 0.005” and up. All our Mo sheets are as per ASTM B386 standard.
